Michelle Hill

Pastor Michelle Roseanne Hill has dedicated her life to ministry and serves with all of her heart, soul, and might. The Apostle Paul’s words govern her life: “God forbid that I should boast, save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world, and “if any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” The Cross she lifts calls men and women to follow our Lord and King, Jesus Christ. Michelle Hill was born in Paget, Bermuda, to Albert and Margaret Donawa. She attended the West End Primary and the Berkeley Institute and is a graduate of the former Atlantic Union College, where she earned a BS with honours in Theology and Religion. At Andrews University Theological Seminary, she attained a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Evangelism and New Testament Studies. While at Andrews, she was inducted into the National Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society. She has served in several leadership roles, including president of SANE, Seminarians at All Nations Engaged, where she was an intern pastor at All Nations Church. She was also president of the WCN, Women’s Clergy Network. Currently, Michelle Hill pastors the Pembroke and Midland Heights Seventh-day Adventist Churches and is the Prayer and Women’s Ministries Director of the Bermuda Conference. Pastor Hill has spoken in South Africa, Kenya, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Canada, and the United States. She has had the privilege of speaking at PELC (Pastor Evangelism Leadership Conference), ShareHim, a global evangelist initiative encouraging members to experience God’s power through witnessing, and her alma mater, Atlantic Union College, for an Alumni weekend. She has successfully conducted evangelistic campaigns in Bermuda, the United States, and Mexico and has introduced many to Christ. She is keenly interested in ministering to women and has been privileged to speak at numerous women’s events locally and internationally. She is the founder of WCIP, Women Connecting in Prayer, which meets virtually every Wednesday morning to pray and praise. She is a sought-after intercessor and has been called upon to offer prayers on various platforms. Pastor Hill is a member of the North American Women’s Ministry Advisory, the Atlantic Union Women’s Ministry Advisory Committee, and, until 2021, was a member of the North American Division Pastoral Advisory Committee. Michelle Hill is married to Dwayne Hill, who serves alongside her as an elder. Together they labour for the building up of the Kingdom. He is her support and source of strength, and she affectionately refers to him as ‘my heart’. Their union is blessed with four sons whom she considers the ‘chambers of her heart’.
